Hi, I’m Theresa Disbrow, founder of Positive Balance LLC and a dedicated financial coach with a mission:

To help individuals and small business owners gain clarity, control, and confidence with their money.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and over 35 years in the business, my career has been spent helping people understand the numbers that shape their lives—both personally and professionally. For more than two decades, I’ve worked in tax and created plans for individuals and small businesses, gaining a clear perspective on the everyday financial challenges people face.

Why I Coach

I was raised in a single-parent household where money was tight, and even basic needs like heat, transportation, and a working phone weren’t always certain. Those experiences, and a few hard-earned lessons of my own, shaped the values I carry into every coaching session:
